Ingredients to make Kaju Curry

  • 1 cup cashew nuts
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • Salt
  • 2 tomatoes
  • oil
  • Clarified butter
  • 1 onions
  • 1 Kashmiri chilli
  • 2 red chillies
  • 8 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 coriander powder
  • 1/2 spoon Gram masala
  • 1/2 turmeric
  • chopped Cilantro
  • 2 tbsp cream
  • 1/2 spoon cumin powder

How to make Kaju Curry

  1. Dry roast cashew nuts first and keep it aside.
  2. Now in a wok add 4 spoon oil add Khada garam masala then add onions garlic and ginger and saute for 20 minutes until the pungent smell of ginger garlic is no more.
  3. Add all powdered ingredients and add tomatoes to it cook until tomatoes start leaving oil on the sides.
  4. Grind the above mixture to smooth paste as it cools down.
  5. Heat clarified butter in a wok add the above paste to it and cook for 15 minutes and then add 1 1/2 cup warm water and cook until you get the nice thick gravy.
  6. Now add cashew nuts, cream and cilantro serve hot.
