Zingy Sweet and Hot Peanut Sauce

Ingredients to make Zingy Sweet and Hot Peanut Sauce

  • 1/2 cup roasted peanuts
  • 3to 4 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 large onion
  • 1-inch piece of ginger
  • 10 to 12 dry red Kashmiri chilli
  • 4 tbsp vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 Tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/4 cup oil.
  • 10 to 12 garlic pods

How to make Zingy Sweet and Hot Peanut Sauce

  1. Dry roast the peanuts. and keep aside.
  2. Soak the chillies in water and boil it for 3 to 4 minutes. and completely cool it.
  3. Take a blender and blend all the ingredients like soaked chillies, ginger, onions, garlic and half of peanuts and make a smooth paste
  4. In a non-stick frying pan add the oil and simmer it with the blended mixture for about 10 minutes when it starts to thicken.
  5. Now at this stage add the vinegar and remaining crushed peanuts and adjust ur seasoning.
  6. Store in an air tight container in the fridge. And it lasts up to 3 to 4 months in the fridge.

My Tip:

Pour sufficient oil so that all ingredients add ups their taste and it stays for a long time.
