Masala Chai Smoothie

Ingredients to make Masala Chai Smoothie

  • 1 cup chilled whisked curd.
  • 5 tea bags (normal).
  • 4 tbsp sugar.
  • 1/2tsp cinnamon powder.
  • 1/2tsp finely chopped ginger.
  • 1/4tsp cloves powder.
  • 1/4tsp cardamom powder.
  • 4 tbsp sugar.
  • 1/4tsp vanilla essence.

How to make Masala Chai Smoothie

  1. In a non-stick pan add 1 cup water, add sugar and all the spices.
  2. Mix well and let it cook on a medium flame for about 5 mins.
  3. Stir occasionally.
  4. Switch off the flame and now add the tea bags and keep aside for 5 mins.
  5. Throw away the tea bags.
  6. Strain and cool completely.
  7. Now in a blender add curd the prepared tea mixture, vanilla essence and blend it until smooth.
  8. Serve it immediately.
My Tip: Honey instead of sugar can also be used.
