Ingredients to make Beetroot carrot soup

  • Half a beetroot
  • Carrots - 2
  • Tomato -1
  • Ginger - 1/2 inch piece
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
  • black salt to taste
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • Water as required
  • Fresh cream for garnish

How to make Beetroot carrot soup

  1. 1. Wash and peel beetroot and carrots. Cut into cubes tomato, carrots and beetroot.
  2. 2. In a blender add beetroot, tomato, carrots and ginger and blend to a fine puree.
  3. 3. Strain the puree using stariner.
  4. 4. Add puree in a sauce pan. Add salt, black salt and red chili powder. Add water as per required consistency. Add lemon juice.
  5. 5. Allow to boil. Garnish with fresh cream and serve hot.
