ABOUT ANEIS DE CEBOLA ( Fried Onion Rings ) RECIPE

This is a Brazilian recipe of the crispy fried onion rings. This is a very popular snack served in the bars there.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Onion rings ... 2 onions ( cut thick round slices and separate the rings)
  2. Maida / flour .... 1 cup
  3. Egg .......... 1
  4. Beer ... 1 can or as needed to make the batter.
  5. White pepper ... 1/4 tsp
  6. Salt ..... to taste
  7. Oil ... to fry

Instructions

  1. Make a thick batter with white flour, egg, salt, black pepper adding enough beer
  2. Heat oil in a pan.
  3. Dip the onion rings in the batter and deep fry them until crisp
  4. Serve immediately with a sauce of your choice.
