  • mustard oil 100 ml
  • Bay leaves
  • cumin 5 gms
  • Black pepper 10
  • green chhily 6
  • ginger 2"
  • Salt
  • potatoes (stiff boiled)

  1. wash and clean the fish and marinade with turmeric and salt.
  2. heat oil in pan and deep fry fish pieces (redish brown?)keep aside
  3. now add more oil to heat,add bay leaves for tempering
  4. throw the potatoes and saute
  5. make a paste of the spices,
  6. add the paste into the pan,and cook we with the potatoes.
  7. add salt turmeric,
  8. pour the requird water bring into a boil
  9. add fried fish pieces,keep for boiling with a lid for 10/12 min,add slited green chillies
  10. give a standard time,serve with hot rice
