Desi mutton gravy

Ingredients to make Desi mutton gravy

  • Mutton 1Kg
  • Onion 1/2kg
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric 4tsp
  • Crushed ginger 2tbsp
  • Garlic 1 saboot
  • Red Chilli Saboot 8
  • Bay leaves 2
  • Jeera powder 1tsp
  • Black pepper 1tsp
  • All Saboot Garam masala including black cardamom
  • Ghee 1tsp
  • Coriander leaves
  • Curd 2tbsp
  • Mustard oil 6tbsp

How to make Desi mutton gravy

  1. Lightly wash the mutton pieces.
  2. In mutton add Mustard oil,onions,Saboot cumin, salt turmeric powder, Curd, all Saboot Garam masala, jeera powder, black pepper powder, bay leaves, ginger, garlic and marinate them for atleast 30 mins.
  3. Heat a flat bottomed cooking pot(dekchi) then transfer the marinated mutton then cover it and place it on the low flame.
  4. If you would like much spicy then warm half cup of water dip 8 Saboot red Chilli for 5mins and grind them in mixer.
  5. Now add the red Chilli grinded paste in the mutton and ghee also stir them well.
  6. Continuously heat for atleast 50mins to 1hr and add some water acc to you.
  7. Now lastly add 1tsp Garam masala and fresh Coriander leaves and serve it with plain rice you will definitely love the taste and combination. :blush:
My Tip: Don't use tomato in it
