Ingredients to make Biryani ka khatta haleem

  • Leftover Biryani 3 cups
  • Butter milk 2 glass
  • Youghrt 1/2 cuo
  • Garlic ,cut sliced 2 tbs
  • Onions medium size cut slices 2
  • Green chillies 3 ,cut small pieces
  • coriander leaves chopped
  • Jeera 1 tbs
  • Garam masala powder 1 tbs
  • red Chilli powder 1 tbs
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tbs
  • Mint leaves chopped
  • Oil 3 tbs
  • Ghee 1 tbs
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbs fry Onions

How to make Biryani ka khatta haleem

  1. In a pressure cooker add , leftover biryani, butter milk , youghrt,all spices and half glass water. Seal the cooker with the lid. After 3 vessels turn off the flame. Cool down 5 minutes than open the cooker. Heat oil and ghee in a pan,add jeera ,and garlic slices . When garlic turn light brown colour add Onions. Onions till golden than pour biryani mixture into it and bring to boil lower heat and shimmer for ten minutes, adjust the consistency by adding water. Serve warm with Garnish ,fry Onions and chopped mint and coriander leaves. Sprinkle some drops ghee on top of the Haleem.
