Ingredients to make Phirni

  • Bowl of rice soaked for 20 minutes
  • 1/2 bowl sugar
  • 4 saffron threads soaked in warm milk
  • handful of dry fruits

How to make Phirni

  1. Keep milk to boil and let it reduce to half, stir continuously and keep scraping the sides.
  2. Wash rice nicely and add in milk, let it cook fr 5 minutes, add sugar and saffron milk.
  3. Keep stirring constantly and cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Garnish with dry fruits and serve chilled.
