Kadai Mushroom

Ingredients to make Kadai Mushroom

  • Mushroom 200 grams
  • Capsicum 1 diced
  • Onion 2 chopped
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 teaspoon
  • Green chillies 2
  • Tomato 3 chopped
  • Coriander seed 2 teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds 2 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Kasuri methi 1 teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  • Milk 1/4 cup
  • Water 1/2 cup
  • Butter 2 tablespoon
  • Oil 2 tablespoon

How to make Kadai Mushroom

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan, add coriander seeds, cumin seeds and red chillies. Let it sputter.
  2. Add onions, green chillies, ginger garlic paste and mix well.
  3. Add tomatoes, salt, mix well and cook till tomatoes softens. Let it cool, keep aside and grind.
  4. In the same pan add 1 tablespoon oil, saute the mushroom and capsicum, add some salt and saute till all moisture evaporates, keep aside.
  5. Heat 2 tablespoon butter in pan and 1 teaspoon oil, fry the onion and tomato paste for 5 minutes, add chilli powder and cook.
  6. Add the sauteed mushroom and capsicum and mix well, cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Add water and boil well, add milk and stir, add kasuri methi amd garam masala,.
  8. Cook till desired consistency.
  9. Garnish with cream and serve hot with roti, naan or parantha.
