ABOUT Custard Platter RECIPE

This is a very simple recipe. We all like to eat desserts especially custards. I have tried to add few more ingredients which will enhance the taste and make it complete custard hangover.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Milk 3 cups
  2. Water 1 cup
  3. Sugar half cup
  4. Vanilla custard powder 4 tablespoon
  5. Oreo biscuits 5 crushed
  6. Almonds 6 to 8 crushed
  7. Cornflakes 1 cup semi crushed
  8. Other dry fruits cut into small peices
  9. Gulab jamun or rasogullas or both (5 to 6 pieces ) cut into slices or desired way

Instructions

  1. Put milk into a thick bottomed pan and let it come to boil and stir.
  2. Add sugar, stir and let it cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Mix the custard powder into the water in separate container.
  4. Now slowly add this mixture to milk and stir continuously to avoid lumps.
  5. Let it cook for 10 minutes or until a thick consistency is formed.
  6. Turn off the gas and let it cool.
  7. Now in small desert bowls or shot glasses put one layer of rasogulla (sweet) then one layer of custard then one layer of crushed oreo and dry fruits and custard and repeat the process.
  8. You can try different ways to decorate these layers .
  9. Chill in the fridge for 3 to 4 hours.
