Ingredients to make Whole wheat pineapple tutti frutti cake

  • Wheat flour 1 cup
  • Eggs 2
  • Raw organic sugar 1/2 cup
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Warm milk 1/2 cup, use more or less to adjust the batter consistency
  • Pineapple essence 1 teaspoon
  • Tutti frutti 1/2 cup
  • Baking powder 1 teaspoon
  • Salt a pinch

How to make Whole wheat pineapple tutti frutti cake

  1. Sieve the whole wheat flour with baking powder and salt 5-6 times.
  2. Beat the eggs till it doubles in volume. Add sugar and beat till light and fluffy.
  3. Add pineapple essence, oil and mix.
  4. Mix 3/4th of the tutti frutti with the flour.
  5. Fold in the flour in the liquid ingredients in batches alternating with milk. Do not over mix. The batter will be slightly thick.
  6. Scoop the batter in the baking dish. Throw in rest of the tutti frutti.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes or until skewer comes out clean.
  8. Un mould the cake after 10 minutes on to a wire rack for complete cooling before slicing.
My Tip: Baking time and temperature as per your oven.
