Twisty Mango Kulfi

Ingredients to make Twisty Mango Kulfi

  • Milk 1 litre
  • Khoya 1 cup
  • Sugar ½ cup
  • Cardamom powder ¼ teaspoon
  • A pinch of salt
  • Chopped nuts ( pista, almonds, cashews)
  • Dussehri mango 1kg
  • Tutti fruti Half cup
  • Sharp knife
  • Peeler

How to make Twisty Mango Kulfi

  1. In a thick bottom pan add milk and heat it on the medium flame. As for making Rabri, milk should get reduced to half. It takes 20-25 minutes to thicken the milk for making rabri.
  2. Keep on stirring occasionally to avoid the burning of milk from bottom.
  3. After 20-25 minutes, when milk is reduced to half add khoya and chopped nuts.
  4. Add sugar, cardamom powder and a pinch of salt and boil for few more minutes.
  5. Switch off the flame and sprinkle some tutti-frutti.
  6. Let it cool.
  7. Take a mango; scoop the seed with the sharp knife. (Don’t peel the skin).
  8. Once deseeded, add the rabri mixture in it.
  9. Freeze it for 5 - 6 hours.
  10. After 6 hours take out the mango filled with rabri, peel the skin with the help of peeler.
  11. Now cut this skinless mango in rounds filled with rabri.
  12. Enjoy the yummy ice cream.
My Tip: Peel the mango skin carefully.
