Ingredients to make Breadlicious custard

  • 2 large cups of milk
  • 4 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp custard powder mixed in 1/2 cup of cold milk
  • Sweet mawa or any mithai crumbles
  • 8 slices of bread cut into round shape to remove edges
  • Chopped almonds to garnish

How to make Breadlicious custard

  1. Take a pan, heat the milk with sugar. Once it boils, add the custard powder and mix it, bring it to boil again. Note to prepare the custard milk of pouring consistency. Once it is cooked, let it cool.
  2. Take 2 round slices of bread, add mawa in between to make a sandwich. Prepare 4 such sandwiches with 8 slices .
  3. Place the sandwiches in a shallow dish or thali. Pour the cold custard milk over the sandwiches and garnish it with chopped almonds. Cover and let this set for 4 hours in the refrigerator or till the bread gets soaked completely.
  4. You can add more custard milk if necessary while serving.
  5. Serve it chilled for best taste.
