A tasty egg curry dish that will fill your appetite and taste buds as well.

Egg Curry

Ingredients to make Egg Curry

  • 6 eggs, boiled and cut in halves
  • 1 large sized onion, chopped
  • 1 inch piece of ginger, minced
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 green chillies, slit
  • 2 tbsp curd
  • 1 tbsp fresh cream
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tbsp kasoori methi
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tbsp chaat masala
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 250 ml water
  • salt to taste
  • Few coriander leaves to garnish, optional

How to make Egg Curry

  1. Make a paste of the following ingredients, onion, green chillies, ginger and garlic.
  2. Take a pan, add oil and saute the paste for about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Take a small bowl, whisk the curd and cream in it together and pour it into the pan. Stir well.
  4. Then add the kasoori methi, garam masala, red chilli powder and salt together. Mix again then pour in the water and bring this mixture to a boil. Cook this for 10 minutes.
  5. Put the boiled eggs into the pan and cook for 5-6 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves on top and serve it hot.
