Spicy Roasted Cocktail Nuts

Ingredients to make Spicy Roasted Cocktail Nuts

  • 2 cups mixed Nuts {almonds cashew pistachios}
  • 1.5 tbsp extra virgin Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Salt {approximately}
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 1/2 tsp smoked Paprika

How to make Spicy Roasted Cocktail Nuts

  1. Line baking sheet with parchment and preheat your oven at 180C.
  2. Rinse the nuts under water, drain well and pat dry using kitchen towel.
  3. Add the nuts to a large bowl and toss in with olive oil, Worcesterchire sauce and lime juice.
  4. To this add smoked paprika and salt. Toss to get everything nicely combined.
  5. Transfer this to prepared baking pan and spread across in a single layer. Roast for 12-15 minutes or till light brown and fragrant.
  6. Leave to cool on the tray before storing in an air tight container in a cool place.

My Tip:

Use pairings in flavours of your choice eg rosemary and chipotle, Tabasco and honey etc
