Crispy fried calamari is simple, quick and finger licking good!
Mix milk and lemon in a bowl. Wait for 5 mins until it thickens.
Add garlic sauce.
Add the squid pieces to the sour milk and soak for 5 hours.
In a bowl mix flour, salt and pepper.
In a separate bowl whisk eggs.
Remove the soaked squid and drain. Dip in egg and then flour mixture.
Heat oil to 350C in a heavy utensil and deep fry the squid pieces until crisp and golden brown. Drain oil on a paper towel.
Serve hot with lemon wedges and any dip of your choice. Garnish with onions.
