About Wholewheat Cheese Crackers Recipe

This is my own recipe, I use it frequently to bake these crackers so that they can be used to make canapes.

Wholewheat Cheese Crackers

Ingredients to make Wholewheat Cheese Crackers

  • 130 gm wholewheat flour
  • 143 gm shredded cheese
  • 87 gm butter
  • salt as per your preference
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 60 ml water for mixing

How to make Wholewheat Cheese Crackers

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Grease or line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Combine the flour, pepper, salt, grated cheese and butter in a bowl and mix until well combined. Add water little at a time to make a very stiff dough.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough and cut the crackers out using a cookie cutter. Arrange the pieces on the baking sheet.
  3. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes or until they turn brown in colour.
  4. Serve alongside any desired sauce for best taste.
