Tomato Soup

Ingredients to make Tomato Soup

  • tomato - 3 medium
  • carrot - 1 medium
  • butter - 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  • cream - 1 tbsp
  • salt to taste

How to make Tomato Soup

  1. Pressure cook tomatoes and carrot with 1 cup water for 2 whistles on high flame. Switch off the flame
  2. Let them cool down and then grind it properly. Strain the tomato carrot mix well.
  3. In a pan,heat butter and add tomato carrot mix, adjust consistency by adding water.
  4. Add salt and black pepper powder. Let it cook for 5-6 minutes on low flame
  5. Switch off flame
  6. Pour in bowl and garnish with fresh cream Serve

I added a small slice of beetroot to it too and it came out a lovely red colour . Served it with shallow fried crisp bread crumbs . My kid loved it. Thanks for sharing this recipe with us.
