Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Peas 700 gm
  2. Chopped onions- 5, medium sized
  3. Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  4. Turmeric powder 2 tbsp
  5. 4 tomatoes
  6. 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp cream
  7. 1/2 cup curd
  8. Chili powder 1/2 tbsp
  9. Coriander powder 2 tbsp
  10. Garam masala powder 1/2 tbsp
  11. Salt to taste
  12. 3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. Pressure cook the peas for one whistle. Drain excess water and keep it aside
  2. Grind 2 tomatoes, 1/2 cup cream and curd to smooth puree
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add onion and saute until golden brown. Now add ginger garlic paste and saute until raw aroma disappears
  4. Now add ground puree , turmeric powder, chili powder,coriander powder garam masala and salt. Mix well
  5. Cook for 5 minutes. Add 2 chopped tomatoes and saute until tomatoes are tender. Add peas, 3/4 cup water and mix well. Cook until gravy has reached desired consistency
  6. Garnish with 1 tbsp cream and chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with roti
