Delectable Dingri Dolma

Ingredients to make Delectable Dingri Dolma

  • 250 gms Button mushrooms
  • 150 gms Paneer (cottage cheese)
  • 1 ts Shahi Jeera(caraway seeds) or Black cumin seeds
  • 2 onions, diced
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 capsicum, diced
  • 1 Green chili, nicely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp White pepper powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garam masala(Mix of Indian spices)
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 2 tbs coriander leaves
  • ginger,julienned for garnishing
  • salt as per taste

How to make Delectable Dingri Dolma

  1. Wash the mushrooms & capsicum & slices them in quarters.
  2. Grate or shred the paneer and keep aside.
  3. Heat the oil in a pan, add caraway seeds & let them crackle.
  4. Add onions and let it turn in to golden brown.
  5. Add ginger garlic paste & green chili. Sauté it for 2,3 minutes on slow flame.
  6. Add mushrooms,red chili powder, pepper powder, salt, turmeric powder. Sauté till the mushrooms are cooked. Make sure to keep the flame low.
  7. Add tomatoes and simmer it for few more minutes till you see tomatoes little soft but not so squishy.
  8. Now add paneer & mix it well in the pan. Cook it for next 3,4 minutes. Add garam masala just before turning off the flame and stir.
  9. Add some chopped coriander leaves and julienned ginger on the top and serve with hot Indian Roti or Parathas. ‘Delectable Dhingri Dolma’ is ready , I’ll call it D3 in short :) .
