Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Mutton - 500 gms
  2. Chopped onion - 250 gms
  3. Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
  4. Whole red chilly - 8 - 10
  5. Whole coriander seeds - 1 tbsp
  6. Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
  7. Whole black pepper - 4 - 5
  8. Cloves - 4
  9. Mace - 1 piece
  10. Black cardamom - 1
  11. Green cardamom - 1
  12. Cinnamon - 1 inch stick
  13. Curd - 1 cup
  14. Kashmiri mirch - 1 tsp
  15. Mustard oil - 1 cup
  16. Salt - to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak whole red chilly in a cup of water and grind it.
  2. Dry roast whole coriander seeds,cumin seeds,cinnamon,black cardamom,green cardamom,mace,cloves and blend it.
  3. Heat mustard oil in a pressure cooker.
  4. Add chopped onion and saute for 4 - 5 mins.
  5. Add ginger garlic paste,red chilly paste and roasted spices and mix well.
  6. Add curd and saute for 3 - 4 mins.
  7. Add mutton pieces and salt and mix well.
  8. Add kashmiri mirch and one cup of water.
  9. Cover the lid and pressure cook for 10 mins.
  10. Serve with rice or chapati.
