Honey Chili potato

Ingredients to make Honey Chili potato

  • Frozen French Fries - 200 gm
  • For Toss Mix - Red Chili Powder - 1 tsp
  • oil - 1.5 Tbsp
  • tomato Sauce - 2 tsps
  • For Sauce- oil - 1/2 tbsp
  • Crushed garlic Cloves - 2
  • tomato Sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Red Chili Sauce - 1 tsp
  • vinegar - 2 tsp
  • honey - 1.5 tbsp
  • Chopped spring onions for Garnish - Few
  • salt - to taste

How to make Honey Chili potato

  1. Mix all the ingredients of Toss Mix together.
  2. Heat the oil in the pan or fryer to around 175°C / 350°F. Place your French Fries and let them sizzle away for 2 - 3 minutes, until they're lovely, crisp and light golden. For best results cook from frozen.
  3. Once done toss them in, toss and mix well.Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan. Add garlic and saute for 10-15 seconds on high flame.
  4. Next, add tomato sauce, red chilli sauce and vinegar to it. Mix for for 10-15 seconds.
  5. Add French fries to it and toss for a minute on medium flame.
  6. Add the Honey and toss it again for 15-20 seconds. Adjust salt too.
  7. Turn off heat and put it on a serving plate.
  8. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and garnish with chopped spring onions.
  9. Serve them hot.

My Tip:

Make sure to keep all ingredients ready before you start preparing [Very Important] because every step has to be done quickly one after another. Its best to serve them immediately so that the fries are still crisp.
