Ingredients to make Hung curd franky

  • 1/2 cup Hung curd
  • Water
  • 1/4cup All purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Wholewheat flour
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 Green chilli, finely chopped
  • 1 Tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • Oil
  • Some curry leaves
  • Salt as per taste

How to make Hung curd franky

  1. Take the whole wheat flour and all purpose flour into the bowl. Add 1 tsp oil and some salt and knead a dough like chapati with water . Keep this aside .
  2. Now divide the dough into equal portion and roll it like chapati .
  3. Take a tawa ,place this franky on hot tawa and half cook it from both sides. Keep this aside .
  4. Now take hung curd, add onion, tomatoes, green chilli, coriander leaves, red chilli powder and salt as per taste. Mix it well .
  5. Take a pan put some oil ,add mustard seeds when they starts to crackle, add curry leaves . Pour this tempering on hung curd mixture.
  6. Now take half cooked franky, apply hung curd mixture all over and fold it from both sides.
  7. Take a tawa put 1 tsp oil and cook this franky from both sides. Hung curd franky is ready to serve .
