Ingredients to make Zero Oil Pressure Cooker Chicken Curry

  • chicken leg, thigh- 4 pieces
  • Baby potato(peeled)- 4 pieces
  • Baby tomato- 2 pieces
  • Whole garlic(peeled)- 1 piece
  • Whole onion(peeled)- 2 pieces
  • Green chilli-4 pieces
  • salt to taste
  • For marination,
  • ginger paste- 1 tbsp
  • garlic Paste- 2 tbsp
  • onion(chopped)- 1 large
  • tomato(chopped) 1 large
  • Green chilli paste-1 tsp
  • turmeric powder-2 tsp
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder-2 tsp
  • cumin powder- 1 tbsp
  • coriander powder-1 tbsp
  • Garam masala- 2 tsp
  • Beaten curd-3/4 cup
  • Whole spices,
  • Green cardamom- 6-7 pods
  • cinnamon sticks- 1-2 pieces
  • clove- 4-5 pieces
  • bay leaves-1-2 pieces
  • Black peppercorn- 12-15 pieces
  • For garnishing,
  • Fresh red chilli- 1 piece
  • Fresh green chilli-1 piece

How to make Zero Oil Pressure Cooker Chicken Curry

  1. Take washed chicken and pat dry the chicken with kichen towel.
  2. Take all ingredients with salt in a mixing bowl for marination. Mix it well.
  3. Marinate the chicken with it and leave for 1 hour in refrigerator.
  4. Put all whole masala in pressure cooker. Dry roast everything until aroma is coming out.
  5. Now add marinated chicken with all veggies and green chillies.
  6. Add salt to taste.
  7. Add hot water as per the amount of curry you want.
  8. Close the lid and cook it until 1 whistle in medium heat.
  9. Let the cooker absorb the steam automatically.
  10. Serve it with steamed rice. Before that garnish with chillies.

My Tip:

In this recipe chicken with some fat is needed.
