ABOUT Checkered cookies RECIPE

It's a plain butter cookies added with coco powder, all purpose flour, butter, vanilla essence, sugar and baking powder.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Flour 140 grams
  2. Sugar 85 grams
  3. Butter 110 grams
  4. Milk to fix the consistency
  5. Egg 1/2
  6. Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Vanilla essence few drops

Instructions

  1. Sieve flour, baking powder together.
  2. Cream butter and sugar.
  3. Add beaten egg and essence and cream well.
  4. Fold in flour. Add little milk if necessary.
  5. Divide the dough into two half.
  6. To one half add coco powder.
  7. Roll the two half separately.
  8. Place the rolled dough on top of each other.
  9. Cut into half and place one above the other. Again cut and place on top of the dough.
  10. Make into half inch thickeness.
  11. Preheat oven and bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes.
