Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Carrot - 8-9 medium sized
  2. Milk- 2-3cups
  3. Ghee- 4tblspn
  4. Sugar- 10tblspn
  5. Cashews - 10-12
  6. Almonds- 4-5
  7. Pistachios- 5-6
  8. Green cardamom powder(chotti elaichi) - 2tspn

Instructions

  1. First rinse, peel and then grate the carrots with a hand held grater.
  2. Take a kadhai and heat ghee in day. After that add the grated carrot into it. Now cover it with a lid on low flame and stir it intermittently till the it's perfectly cooked and the quantity of the gajar is reduced( till the water dries up).
  3. Now add the sugar and the chopped dried fruits(half of it). Stir it and again cover it on low flame.
  4. Once the sugar melts and mixes properly with the gajar, add the milk. And again cover it.
  5. Once the milk is reduced the to 3/4th, add 1tbspn ghee and the cardamom powder .
  6. Now once the milk is fully reduced, switch off the flame and add the rest dry fruits.
