Ingredients to make FIG and CRANBERRY TEA CAKE

  • Eggs 3
  • All purpose flour 1+1/4 cup
  • Damrera sugar 3/4 cup+1 tbsp
  • Butter 100gms
  • Baking powder 3/4tsp
  • Baking soda 1/4 cup
  • Soaked ,soft,Pureed figs 3tbsp
  • Cranberries 15 chopped well

How to make FIG and CRANBERRY TEA CAKE

  1. Beat sugar and butter and add eggs
  2. Add pureed fig ,and a tablespoon of flour to avoid curdling. (Add eggs one by one.)
  3. Mix flour baking powder,baking soda and keep aside
  4. When the egg mixture is done well,add it to flour and mix with cut and fold method.
  5. Dust sliced cranberries with 1/4 cup flour and mix in cake mixture.
  6. Pour the contents in,well dusted, baking dish and bake for 40 min. at 180° in a preheated oven.
