Vegetable Briyani - One Pot Meal

Ingredients to make Vegetable Briyani - One Pot Meal

  • Carrot - 4 cut into cubes
  • Green Peas - 1 cup (fresh)
  • potato - 2 large cut into cubes
  • Beans - 1 cup finely chopped
  • Pudina leaves - 1 cup
  • Tomato - 2 chopped
  • Onion - 3 chopped
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 Tbsp
  • Green chilli - 2
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • Oil and Salt as required
  • Basmati rice - 2 cups

How to make Vegetable Briyani - One Pot Meal

  1. Heat oil in a cooker, add gram masala, onions, ginger garlic paste, slit green chillies and fry well. Add tomatoes and fry for some more time.
  2. Once tomatoes and onions are cooked, add salt, add all veggies, pudina and fry well. Add soaked basmati rice and add turmeric garam masala.
  3. Add 2.5 cups of water and close the cooker and leave for 1 whistle. Then simmer for 10 minutes. Veg Biryani is ready.
  4. Serve hot with raita.
