ABOUT Paneer kalakand RECIPE

Usually we made kalakand with only milk but i use paneer,milk powder and malai for more rich and cream taste.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Milk-1ltr.
  2. Paneer-250 gm grated
  3. Milk powder -2 cup
  4. Sugar-250gm
  5. Malai-2 cup
  6. Khoya-250 gm
  7. Cardamom powder- 1/4teaspoon
  8. Clarified butter- 1tablespoons
  9. Chopped almonds- 10
  10. Chopped cashewnut- 10

Instructions

  1. Heat milk in a heavy bottom pan.
  2. Add cardamom powder and bring it to boil for 15 minutes on midium flam.
  3. Now add khoya, grated paneer, malai and mix well.
  4. Now mix milk powder in 1/2cup of milk and add in it.
  5. Now cook on medium flam stir it occasionally.
  6. When its become thickens and starts leaving the side of pan.(it takes 30 to 35 minutes)
  7. Add chopped cashewnut ,Almond sugar and clarified butter.
  8. Now cook on medium flam for another 10 minutes or its reach kalakand consistency.
  9. Now switch off the flam and pour the mixture in grease thali or tray and set for 2 hours.
  10. Now cut into pieces.
