Soya Spinach cutlets

Ingredients to make Soya Spinach cutlets

  • Soya granules 1 1/2 cups
  • spinach 2 cups
  • Boiled potatoes 2-3
  • ginger, garlic and green chilli paste 1 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin coriander powder 1 tsp
  • amchur powder 1/2 tsp
  • sugar 1/2 tsp
  • oil for shallow frying
  • salt to taste

How to make Soya Spinach cutlets

  1. Soak the soya granules in hot water for 30 minutes and drain the water after 30 minutes. Blanch the spinach leaves
  2. In a food processor, add soya granules, spinach, ginger garlic green chilli paste and grind it for a minute.
  3. In a bowl, add boiled mashed potatoes, soya spinach mixture, and all the remaining ingredients except oil.
  4. Mix properly and refrigerate for 30 minutes
  5. Then shape the cutlets in desired shape and shallow fry till golden brown on both sides
  6. Alternatively, it can baked in a preheated oven at 375 for 15-18 minutes until slightly browned

My Tip:

Mix hung curd 1/2 cup, dill 1 tsp, salt, pepper, sugar, green chilli paste and refrigerate for 30 minutes and serve with cutlets.
