ABOUT Karaicha Maa Dosa (Instant Dosa) RECIPE

This Dosa really helps in hand whenever we do not have stock of idli or dosa batter in hand and have guests at home. Very easy and tasty breakfast done by our grannies.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rice flour 2 cups
  2. Wheat flour 1 cup
  3. Maida / All purpose flour 1 cup
  4. Sooji 1/2 cup
  5. Ragi Flour 1/2 cup
  6. Chopped Curry Leaves
  7. Cumin seeds 1 tea spoon
  8. Crushed pepper corns 1 tea spoon
  9. Finely Chopped Green Chillies & Ginger 1 teaspoon each
  10. Butter milk (blended curd) 1 cup
  11. Asafoetida powder 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients mentioned above in a broad bowl.
  2. Add water and bring it to thin batter consistency. (Pouring Consistency)
  3. Heat a Dosa tawa and grease it with oil.
  4. Pour a ladle of batter around and drizzle few drops of oil.
  5. Cook on both sides to golden brown.
  6. Serve hot with coconut chutney
