About Fried Rice Recipe

If you've got some leftover rice, this recipe will turn it into a delicious meal !

Fried Rice

Ingredients to make Fried Rice

  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1/2 onion chopped
  • 1/2 Red pepper, chopped
  • 3-4 Pea shell, washed
  • 100g chicken
  • 1-2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp Dark Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp White sesame seeds
  • 1tsp garlic, minced
  • salt to taste

How to make Fried Rice

  1. Heat oil in a tawa, add onions and garlic, saute for 1-2 mins.
  2. Add the red bell peppers, pea shells and a pinch of salt.
  3. Add the chicken and cook until brown over medium heat, about 5-8 mins, add the cooked rice and mix well.
  4. Now add the soy sauce and mix well to coat. Season with some salt and saute for another 3-5 mins.
  5. Sprinkle the sesame seeds and mix well. Remove from heat.
  6. Transfer to a plate and serve hot!
