ABOUT Nutrela Soya Pav Bhaji RECIPE

Pav bhaji is a fast food dish from Maharashtra, consisting of a vegetable curry served with a soft bread roll (pav).

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 200g onions, chopped
  2. 200g chopped capsicum
  3. 1 tbsp ginger garlic Paste
  4. 200g chopped tomato
  5. 100g boiled potato mashed
  6. 200g cooked Nutrela Soya Granules, drained
  7. 4 tbsp pav bhaji powder
  8. 1 tsp kashmiri red chilly powder
  9. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  10. 2 tbsp coriander leaves to garnish
  11. 1 lemon (juice)
  12. 50g butter
  13. 30ml refined oil
  14. salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Cook till onions turn brown. Add chopped onions and sautee until translucent
  2. Add ginger garlic paste. Now put in the chopped capsicum and saute until it starts to soften.
  3. Add in the tomatoes and continue cooking until they melt.
  4. Now add in the pav bhaji masala, chilly powder, and the turmeric powder.
  5. Put in the potato mash, give it a quick stir, add the Nutrela Soya Granules and continue to stir fry, adding little water if required to get the right consistency.
  6. Add salt to taste and put in the lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves.
  7. Finish off by stirring in the butter.
  8. Serve with buttered pav.
