Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Basmati rice-1/2 cup
  2. Sweet corn-1/2 cup
  3. Red and green capsicum-1/2 cup
  4. Onion-1
  5. Ginger,garlic and green chilli paste-1 tsp
  6. Cloves-3
  7. Cardamom-2
  8. Cinnamon-1 piece
  9. Black pepper-5
  10. Bayleaf-1
  11. Ghee-2tbsp
  12. Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
  13. Garam masala-1/2 tsp
  14. Salt

Instructions

  1. SOAK 1/2 CUP RICE FOR 30 MINS
  2. HEAT 2 TBSP GHEE
  3. ADD 1/2 TSP CUMIN SEEDS
  4. ADD 2 CARDAMOMS, 3 CLOVES, 1 CINNAMON STICK, 5 PEPPERCORNS, 1 BAYLEAF
  5. ADD 1 TSP GINGER- GARLIC-GREEN CHILLI PASTE, SAUTE FOR A MINUTE
  6. ADD 1 SLICED ONION, FRY TILL TRANSLUCENT
  7. ADD THE RICE
  8. SAUTE THE RICE TILL DRY
  9. ADD 1 CUP WATER
  10. ADD SALT TO TASTE
  11. COVER & COOK FOR 2 MINS
  12. WHEN THE RICE IS HALF COOKED, ADD 1/2 CUP EACH OF CORN, RED & GREEN CAPSICUM
  13. ADD 1/2 TSP GARAM MASALA, COOK TILL THE RICE IS DONE
