Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup fresh methi leaves, washed & chopped
  2. 1 cup green peas
  3. 1 medium potato
  4. 1 medium onion
  5. 1 medium tomatoes
  6. 4 garlic cloves, chopped
  7. 1 green chilli, slit
  8. 1 tablespoon oil
  9. 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds (zeera)
  10. 1/2 teaspoon asafoetida (hing)
  11. 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  12. 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  13. 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
  14. Salt to taste
  15. 4 roti / paratha
  16. 2-3 tablespoon Eggless mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. HEAT 1 TBSP OIL. ADD 1/2 TSP CUMIN SEEDS
  2. 1/2 TSP ASAFETIDA
  3. GARLIC & GREEN CHILLI
  4. SAUTE FOR 30 SECONDS
  5. ADD CHOPPED ONION. SAUTE UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN
  6. ADD TURMERIC, CORIANDER POWDER & GARAM MASALA POWDER
  7. SAUTE FOR HALF A MINUTE
  8. ADD CHOPPED TOMATO, POTATO & GREEN PEAS
  9. SAUTE ON HIGH FLAME FOR A MINUTE.
  10. COVER THE PAN WITH A PLATE & ADD 1/4 CUP WATER ON IT
  11. WHEN THE WATER IS 90% EVAPORATED, REMOVE THE LID
  12. ADD CHOPPED METHI LEAVES
  13. MIX & SAUTE FOR A MINUTE. COVER & COOK FOR 4-5 MINUTES
  14. ADD SALT TO TASTE. MIX & ITS DONE
  15. TAKE SOME SABZI IN A BOWL. ADD 1 HEAPED TABLESPOON MAYONNAISE
  16. SPREAD THE METHI MATAR MAYO MIX ON A ROTI/PARATHA
  17. ROLL IT & WRAP WITH A FOIL OR TISSUE
