  • mustard 1 tea spoon
  • Broken u.paruppu 1 tea spoon
  • red chilly 3
  • Besan dall 1 tea spoon
  • Kari leaves

  • Coconut oil 2. tea spoon
  • Gingly oil 2 tea spoon
  • salt
  • water
  • 1

How to make Broken rice upma

  1. Heat some oil in a wok.
  2. Add all the ingredients, one by one.
  3. Stir for few minutes and add required amount of water.
  4. Add salt
  5. Boil add broken rava
  6. Cook for 30 minutes with intermittent stirring.
  7. The consistency must be soft and it should be cooked well.
  8. The upma is ready to be served, serve hot with some chutney or pickle on the side.
