Ingredients to make Bhatura ( red)

  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 3 tbsp pomegranate juice
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp boiled potatoes
  • salt as required
  • pinch of baking soda
  • curd as required

How to make Bhatura ( red)

  1. In a bowl add wheat flour, red chilli powder, salt, baking soda and boiled potatoes mix well
  2. Add pomegranate juice and curd knead the dough for few minutes and cover the dough rest of 30 minutes
  3. After 30 minutes divide dough into equal portions and make smooth balls out of it roll it into a big puri
  4. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry bhatura till golden
