Chole Masala

Ingredients to make Chole Masala

  • coriander crushed 1 tbsp
  • coriander chopped 1 tbsp
  • 1 onion chopped
  • salt to taste
  • ginger-Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • chilli powder 1 tsp
  • 2 tomatoes chopped
  • 250 gms kabuli chana, boiled (Garbanzo)
  • 2 tbsp oil

How to make Chole Masala

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add the crushed coriander, chopped coriander and saute it. Add in the chopped onions, salt and saute it for a minute. Add the ginger-garlic paste and cook this till the raw flavour is gone.
  2. Add the chole masala powder, chilli powder, chopped tomatoes and cook this till tender. Add kabuli chana, mix it well and saute it for 2 minutes, then turn off the flame.
  3. Serve this with naan, chapathi or fulko luchi.
