Sweet kachori

Ingredients to make Sweet kachori

  • For cover
  • potatoes 2 large
  • Bread crumbs 1medium size bowl
  • salt to taste
  • For filling
  • Fresh grated coconut 2-3 cups
  • sugar powdered 1 cup
  • Few resins (optional)
  • cardamom powder 1tsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying

How to make Sweet kachori

  1. Boil and mash potatoes
  2. Add salt and 1/2breadcrumbs and mix well
  3. Keep aside
  4. In another bowl, mix together ingredients for filling
  5. Take a lemon size Ball of the potato mixture. Dip in the breadcrumbs and form a hollow katori
  6. Put about 1tbsp of filling in the centre and close to form a ball
  7. Deep fry the balls in oil
  8. Drain on a tissue paper
  9. Serve hot with sweetened curd

My Tip:

You can use arrowroot powder instead of breadcrumbs if made for fasting
