About Vadapav Recipe

Vadapav

Ingredients to make Vadapav

  • 250 gms Boiled n Mashed potatoes
  • 2 fine chopped green chilies
  • 1 fine chopped onion
  • salt to taste,
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp green chilly paste
  • 2 sp oil,
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp urad dal
  • Pinch of Hing n Pinch of turmeric powder
  • curry leaves
  • Chopped Green garlic
  • Chopped coriander leaves

How to make Vadapav

  1. Heat oil Splutter Mustard seeds n Urad Dal,Add Hing n Curry leaves. Add chopped onion cook till transparent. Add chopped green chilies. Cook 1 mins. Cool it down add in Mashed Potatoes. Add turmeric, salt,green chilly paste n lemon juice
  2. Add chopped green Garlic n coriander leaves. Make balls from it.
  3. For batter 200 gms Besan/Gram flour Pinch of salt Pinch of Turmeric Add water n make thick batter consistency. Keep for 1/2 hrs aside. After dip balls in batter n Fry in oil till golden brown.
  4. Assemble in pav with green Chuteny, Khajur-Imli Chuteny n dry Vadapav powder Chuteny.

My Tip:

If u make batter n keep it 30 to 40 mins aside before frying no need to add any rising or soda in batter.
