Ingredients to make Mango kesari

  • Very sweet variety ripe mangoes - 3
  • cashews - 10
  • Rava/ sooji - 1/2 cup
  • ghee - 1/4 cup
  • water - 1 cup
  • cardamom powder - 1 tsp

How to make Mango kesari

  1. Cut the mangoes into pieces and blend it without water and keep ready.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan and roast the rava till it turns aromatic.
  3. Now add the pureed mango pulp and stir continuously in medium flame.
  4. Add water and close the lid and simmer for 2-3 mins till the rava is cooked.
  5. Add cardamom powder and ghee roasted cashews and give a mix.
  6. Garnish with ghee roasted cashews and serve.

My Tip:

It's a very mildly sweeted Kesari as no sugar is added. The colour of the Kesari is due to the mango pulp.
