Ingredients to make Mutton korma

  • Mutton 300 gms.
  • mustard oil 12 tbsp.
  • bay leaf 2.
  • turmeric powder 2 tbsp.
  • red chilli powder 4 tbsp.
  • cinnamon stick 1.
  • cardamom 5.
  • cloves 2.
  • onion 3 chopped.
  • ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp.
  • tomato 2 chopped.
  • potato 2 quartered.
  • Garam masala 1 tbsp.
  • ghee 4 tbsp.
  • salt as needed.

How to make Mutton korma

  1. Heat oil in a cooker.
  2. Add Bay leaf ,cinnamon, cardamom, clove .
  3. Add onion & ginger garlic paste .
  4. Saute it.
  5. Add tomatoes, salt, turmeric powder , red chilli powder & cook for 2 minutes or in till the oil separates.
  6. Add mutton , potatoes & 1 cup of water in it.
  7. Put the lid of the cooker on.
  8. Cook on medium flame for 30 minutes.
  9. After releasing the pressure , open the lid.
  10. Add garam masala, ghee in it & simmer for 5 minutes more.
  11. Serve hot with rice / rooti.
