Ingredients to make Dabeli

  • 6 pieces boil potatoes, mashed
  • Pomogranate seeds
  • Crunchy fried groundnut sprinkled with :
  • Chat Masala
  • Aamchur powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • Kala Namak (Rock Salt)
  • Pepper powder
  • Imli chutney
  • Greenchutney
  • Butter for shallow frying
  • 8 pieces pav (bread)

How to make Dabeli

  1. In mashed potatoes, add salt, chilli, coriander, garam masala, sugar, pepper, green chilli paste, special dabeli masala and chat masala.
  2. Cut pav from between and apply butter. Stuff potato masala on it and on then put chopped onion, groundnut, pomegranate, green and imli chutney.
  3. Shallow fry that pav on tawa in butter and serve immediately.
My Tip: Dabeli Masala is most important for dabeli taste, add kala namak, aamchur powder, jeera powder, pepper, sugar and chilli.
