About Peanut chutney Recipe

It is a traditional south indian chutney receipe. Always served with idli, dosa, vada, uttapam .

Peanut chutney

Ingredients to make Peanut chutney

  • peanuts 1 cup roasted
  • ginger 1 inch
  • Green chilli 1
  • Bengal gram 2 tablespoon soaked
  • urad dal 2 tablespoon soaked
  • salt to taste
  • water 1/4 cup
  • For tempering:
  • oil 1 tablespoon
  • curry leaves 8
  • mustard seed 2 tablespoon
  • Asfetoida 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

How to make Peanut chutney

  1. Add all ingredients to a mixer and make a smooth paste.
  2. Remove it in a serving bowl. Heat oil and add ingredients of tempering.saute it for 2 minutes. Pour this tempering over chutney and serve with idlis.

My Tip:

You can add tamrind also.
