ABOUT sweet potato Pav bhaji RECIPE

A healthy recipe of pav bhaji made with sweet potatoes. Yummy and extremely delicious.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Pavs 4 ( fry in butter lightly roasted in pan add garnish in pavbhaji masala and coriender)
  2. Oil 4 tablespoons
  3. Onions chopped 1 cup
  4. Ginger-garlic paste 1 1/2 teaspoons
  5. sweet Potatoes boiled and mashed 2 cups
  6. Tomato puree fresh 1 cup
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Pav bhaji masala 2 tablespoons
  9. Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Lemon juice 2 teaspoons
  11. Butter 2 tablespoons
  12. fresh coriander leaves
  13. A lemon slice
  14. hing 1/2 spoon
  15. turmeric powder 1/2 spoon

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add chopped onions and saute. When they turn golden add ginger-garlic paste ,hing ,turmeric powder ,and saute
  2. Add mashed sweet potatoes and mix .Add fresh tomato puree and mix well. Add 1 cup water and mix and cook for 4 minutes.
  3. Add red chilli powder and lemon juice and mix. Add butter and mix. Chop coriander leaves and mix
  4. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with remaining onion and a lemon slice and serve hot with pavs.
