It is a healthier version of banana bread which can also be referred as banana cake.Goes best with high tea.Kids love it.

Ingredients to make Banana bread homestyle

  • olive oil - 1/2 cup
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • eggs beaten -2no.
  • overripe bananas- 3 to 4no.
  • refined flour - 1 1/2 cup
  • baking soda- 1 teaspoon
  • salt-1/2 teaspoon
  • vanilla essence -1/2 teaspoon

How to make Banana bread homestyle

  1. preaheat oven at 180•c
  2. mix oil and powdered sugar in a bowl.
  3. mix flour, baking soda and salt together.
  4. crush bananas very well without lumps.Add it to beaten eggs.
  5. Now add bananas mixture to oil and sugar bowl.
  6. start adding flour mixing softly little by little in it.
  7. add vanilla essence.
  8. Don’t mix the mixture too much.
  9. take a greased tin or baking dish.
  10. pour the mix and level it.
  11. Can add walnuts in it or choco chips too.
  12. Bake for 55 min.
  13. Test the bread with a stick for been cooked well.
  14. Now take it out on a plate for cooling.
  15. Should be refrigerated for more life.

My Tip:

Don’t puree bananas in blender as it becomes watery.Use hands or fork to crush it well. Can be made eggless too.Replace eggs with 1 teaspoon baking powder and 1 teaspoon baking soda. We can also use wheat flour in place of refined flour for healthier version.
