About Mehboobi Recipe

Its my childhood favourite recipe...

Mehboobi

Ingredients to make Mehboobi

  • maida 1 cup
  • ghee 4-5 tbsp
  • salt 1/4 tsp
  • sugar 2 cups
  • water as needed
  • oil for frying

How to make Mehboobi

  1. In a bowl add maida , ghee , and salt.
  2. Knead the dough with water.
  3. Dough should b little hard.
  4. Now divide the dough into small balls.
  5. Roll out the balls with the rolling pin into round shape.
  6. Apply some ghee.
  7. Now cut the circle into 4-5 straight lines.
  8. Roll the strips into one another like u make a pin wheel sandwich or cookies.
  9. Again roll that into round shape like puri.
  10. Do the same with rest of the balls.
  11. Fry the puris crisp in low flame.
  12. Now in another sauce pan add water and sugar.
  13. Boil to make one tar consitensy chashni.
  14. Switch off the gas.
  15. Now add the puris in the chashni and leave for 10-15 mins.
  16. Now enjoy yummyy mehboobi...
