About RAGI LADDOO Recipe

Ragi laddoos are healthy and delicious sweets that you can make during the festive season. They are really easy to prepare and need very few ingredients. These ragi laddoos can be cooked in just about 20 minutes and taste delicious.

RAGI LADDOO

Ingredients to make RAGI LADDOO

  • 1 cup ragi flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 to 4 tbsp ghee
  • 4 tbsp finely chopped cashews and almonds
  • 1 or 2 tbsp milk (optional)

How to make RAGI LADDOO

  1. Heat ghee in a pan, add the ragi flour and roast in medium flame for 5 to 10 till you get a nice aroma.
  2. Now add the dry fruits and continue roasting for 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Switch off the flame and add powdered sugar and mix well.
  4. Allow the mix to come to cool down a bit but still warm.
  5. Add milk or ghee if necessary and mix well to combine everything together.
  6. Grease your hands with ghee, take small balls and form ladoos.
  7. Arrange the ragi laddoos on a plate or bowl and serve.
  8. After it has come to room temperature, you can also transfer the laddoos to an air tight container.
  9. These ragi laddoos stay fresh for about one week.
