About Beetroot cutlets Recipe

Ingredients to make Beetroot cutlets

  • Beetroot (chopped) - 1 cup
  • carrots (chopped) - 1/2 cup
  • Beans (chopped) - 1/4 th cup
  • onion (chopped) - 1
  • ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • salt
  • Refined oil
  • Outer covering :
  • Boiled and mashed potatoes - 2
  • pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  • salt
  • Mixed herbs - 1/2 tsp
  • egg whites
  • Bread crumbs

How to make Beetroot cutlets

  1. Heat some oil in a pan, add chopped onion and saute till golden brown and then add all the chopped vegetables.
  2. Add salt, ginger garlic paste and red chilly powder. Give it a mix and cook till the vegetables are cooked.
  3. Now add salt , pepper powder and mixed herbs to the mashed potatoes.
  4. Take small roundels of the potato mix and stuff with the beetroot mix.
  5. Reshape them as cutlets, dip them in egg whites and then in bread crumbs. Deep fry them.
